Éstas podrían ser imágenes
de tu ciudad, de tu familia y de ti mismo paseando tranquilamente...
Si vivieseis en Bagdad. Gente corriente, como en todas partes, que
no aparece en los telediarios. Algunos quieren llamarles daños
colaterales, nosotros queremos verlos y que ellos sepan que sabemos
que tienen nombres. No son daños, son personas: Amal, Munir,
Mohammed, Nada, Thuraya... Un abrazo muy fuerte.
Gracias muy grandes a nuestro webcam-man, Antonio
Baquero, por fotografiar la misma esquina día tras día,
aunque ello sea cada vez más difícil. |

These images could be your
city’s, your family’s and yourselves’ walking... If
you lived in Baghdad. Normal people, like anywhere, who do not appear
on the news. Some want to call them collateral damages, but we want
to see them and to let them know that we know that they have names.
They are not damages, they are people: Amal, Munir, Mohammed, Nada,
Thuraya… Big hug.
